EXPLANATORY NOTE

The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment affects approximately 1.11 ha (2.74 ac) of land located on Part of Lot 7, Concession 9, and known municipally as 8160 County Road 17 (Ste-Anne Park).

The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to re-zone the subject lands from Open Space (OS) Zone to Residential Type One (R1) Zone.  The Township has deemed Ste-Anne Park as surplus and plans to rezone the lands to accommodate residential development opportunities. The effect of the amendment would be to allow low density residential uses to be permitted on the subject lands.
